10 kHz - PAL (pat.)

10 kHz-PAL comply with regulations for bycatch mitigation devices in both the US and the EU (Regulation (EU) 2020/967; NOAA Harbor porpoise take reduction plan). These deterrents successfully reduce marine mammal bycatch.

10 kHz-PAL is positively buoyant, floats and helps pull the net open. The battery is replaceable. The devices are easily attached. Shaping and handling were extensively tested with fishermen. Inaudible to fish.

The 10 kHz-PAL has a very robust, black, UV-protected housing. To increase safety on board, it is light, buoyant and has an internal shock-absorber. Designed, manufactured and tested in Germany. Two year warranty against manufacturing defects.
