Wideband - PAL (pat.)

Wideband-PAL comply with EU bycatch mitigation regulations (Regulation (EU) 2020/967). A bycatch reduction of 60-100% was independently proven in Icelandic and Bulgarian fisheries. They cover a wide range of sounds to prevent habituation of the animals and successfully reduce marine mammal bycatch in fisheries.

Wideband-PAL is positively buoyant, floats and helps pull the net open. The battery is replaceable. The devices are easily attached. Shaping and handling were extensively tested with fishermen. Inaudible to fish.

The Wideband-PAL has a very robust, black, UV-protected housing. To increase safety on board, it is light, buoyant and has an internal shock-absorber. Designed, manufactured and tested in Germany. Two year warranty against manufacturing defects.
